Glynwood’s Farmer Training team is excited to accept three new farm businesses into the Hudson Valley Farm Business Incubator! Through this innovative program farmers receive customized support, technical assistance, and comprehensive mentorship from Glynwood team members, area farm experts, and service providers on their own land.
Please join us in welcoming the following farms as they begin their engagement in the 2024 Incubator cohort:
Little Gem Farm, managed by Zoe Friedberg, produces vegetables, herbs, and flowers on 3⁄4 acre of black dirt, using organic practices. Little Gem Farm operates at the Chester Agricultural Center in Chester, NY.
Finca Seremos, co-managed by Chris Nickell and Brenda González, will plant a diverse lineup of vegetables, flowers, and herbs on 1½ acres outside of Beacon, NY. The name, Finca Seremos, means “We-will-be Farms” in Spanish. They also plan to raise a small flock of laying hens to provide eggs as a limited seasonal add-on for CSA subscribers.
Full Circus Farm is a certified organic, horse-powered vegetable farm and fruit tree nursery, operating on 10 acres of leased land in Pine Plains, NY. Co-managers Miriam Goler and Mark Stonehill are committed to making land and business decisions that strengthen their climate resilience.
We invite you to follow along with these farms on social media or through their newsletters.
