Hania joined Glynwood as a Livestock Apprentice in March of 2022, and stayed on as Livestock
Assistant after completing the program. She assists with the daily care of all animal groups
within the Livestock Operation. She also provides support for the Apprentices’ in-field learning,
and in the Farm Store.

Before joining Glynwood, Hania farmed and worked in farm-based education in Maine, the
Adirondacks, and the Boston area. She also worked on a grass-fed beef operation in England
through the WWOOF Network. She graduated with a BA in Environmental Policy from Colby
College.

Hania is passionate about building alternatives to the industrial food system as a necessary
component of combatting the climate crisis. She is a lifelong food lover and enthusiastic home
cook. She loves that farming allows her to be outside and connected to the land and the many
critters that inhabit it!
