Sophie Sagan-Gutherz

Sophie is a creator and connector who has a passion for storytelling and community building. They originally hail from the woods of Massachusetts and now reside in Brooklyn. In addition to their work at Glynwood, they are the Community and Operations Director at The Pleiades Network, a network of members that connect, resource, and elevate marginalised genders working to cultivate the environmental and social solutions for the tomorrow we need.

They’re a current Student Mentor in the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Gender-Expansive Mentorship Program, where they partner with students to learn leadership skills and the business side of the arts from gender-expansive professionals. They are also a trained Production Accessibility Coordinator with IndieVISIBLE Entertainment and have assisted on a multitude of projects, including an upcoming Hulu series.

Additionally, Sophie is an award-winning film and theatre maker. They have a passion for the intersection of art and social justice, with gender equality, queer visibility, and disability rights at the forefront.
