Henry Blair

Henry Blair joined Glynwood in early 2025 as Program Manager for the Grains & Staples program. In this role he supports value-chain coordination between researchers, farmers, processors, and end-users to increase the acreage and utilization of grains, dry beans, and other staple crops in the Hudson Valley and broader Northeast.

Henry has been working in the food industry for 15 years in a range of capacities. He cooked and baked professionally before discovering GrowNYC Grains where he worked as Sales Associate and then Operations Manager building markets and establishing relationships throughout the supply chain during a critical program growth phase. He moved to Vermont and worked for UVM Extension coordinating grain field trials, lab analysis, and outreach to grain farmers and end-users. Before joining Glynwood full-time he worked as a consultant for nearly two years supporting research, outreach, and events for the Grains & Staples program.

Henry holds a Culinary Arts certificate from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, a B.S in Sustainable Food Systems from Montana State University – Bozeman, and an M.A in Food Studies from New York University. He is passionate about food, mountains, and travel; outside of work he loves skiing, biking, camping, gardening, cooking, and traveling.
