• Women Leading Philanthropy at the Intersection of Food, Climate, and Community

  At this pivotal moment, women are reshaping the philanthropic landscape by centering regional food systems as a powerful nexus for climate resilience, equity, and food security. This conversation will bring together visionary women+ philanthropists and movement leaders who are challenging extractive models of giving in favor of relational approaches that honor both people and ecosystems, forging deep connections between regenerative agriculture, food security, and ecological health. We believe that when we invest in the land and the people who tend it, we invest in our collective future.

  The Hudson Valley and NYC region is emerging as a global model for climate resilience, built on the effective, sustained stewardship of both land and water. Join Glynwood and Riverkeeper, whose advocacy protects and restores the Hudson River from source to sea and safeguards drinking water supplies, for a morning conversation on what's working in this region and how these lessons can be adapted elsewhere.

• Common Infrastructure for Collective Action: Growing Regional Food Systems Resilience

  This gathering brings together practitioners, funders, researchers, investors, and ecosystem leaders to explore the shared social, technical, and financial infrastructure needed to strengthen regional food systems. The day unfolds across three interactive sessions. Megan Larmer, Glynwood’s Vice President of Programs, speaks on Workshop 1: Learning Across Regions (Lightning Talks & Facilitated Discussion), exploring what regional food systems can teach us about the common infrastructure needed to strengthen implementation and replication.

  A look at procurement and the supply chain, opening with a live demo of the City Food Policy Project's interactive procurement dashboard (starting with beans). June Russell, Glynwood Director of Regional Food Programs, joins as a speaker, presenting on the state of New York State's dry-bean ecosystem, alongside Harvest New York, Furmano's, and the City Food Policy Project.
