Chelsea Anan

Chelsea joined the Glynwood team in May 2024 as the Farmer Training Program Coordinator. In this position, Chelsea helps to support Farmer Training’s initiatives including the Hudson Valley Apprentice Program and the Mid-Hudson Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training (CRAFT) tours. Chelsea first came to the Hudson Valley in 2018 to manage an organic diversified vegetable farm in the Catskills and fell in love with the Hudson Valley’s robust farming community and the people that sustain it.

Chelsea has 10+ years of experience working in non-profit and education sectors along with 6 seasons of farming experience at farms in Northern California, Hawaii, and the Hudson Valley. Before working at Glynwood, Chelsea was the Arts & Ecology Coordinator and greenhouse crew at the Stone Barns Center. There, she worked to build solutions for the farm's non-edible material streams through the creation of value-added products and worked within the nursery, flower production fields, and greenhouse growing spaces.

Chelsea has a BS from Cal Poly Humboldt in Environmental Management & Protection with a focus in Interpretation & Education. In her spare time she can be found foraging along local trails, dabbling in herbalism, and seeking sunny swimming holes.
