  • Glynwood is seeking a hands-on, talented, experienced, respected and engaging Senior Director of Glynwood’s Farm, a farmer with a whole-farm vision and excellent planning and program management capabilities to implement that vision; a bridge-builder with outstanding organizational and teaching skills, as well as strong supervisory management skills; and a leader and mentor who is approachable and inspiring.   • Glynwood is seeking a Program Coordinator to support our mission-driven programs, including Regional Food Programs, Farm Programs, and Public Programs. This position will work closely with all Program Directors, as well as the Communications and Events teams.

  • Glynwood seeks three apprentices to assist in all aspects of production for our multi-species livestock operation. Glynwood pastures cattle, goat, sheep, hogs and poultry. Work includes day-to-day care of the animals as well as monitoring breeding, birthing, caring for sick or injured animals, and on-farm processing of poultry. The livestock apprentice positions are 10 months, from February to November. Some opportunities to gain experience with Glynwood’s vegetable enterprises will also be provided. One season of livestock farming experience is required. Carpentry and tractor experience is a plus.

    Livestock Apprentice compensation includes a private room in on-site apprentice housing. Livestock Apprentices are paid $500 weekly stipend, based on a 45 hour work week, and are provided with workers compensation insurance.

  • Glynwood seeks three apprentices to assist in all aspects of production for our 6 acres of vegetables. Work includes greenhouse management, cover cropping, irrigation, tractor field work, fertility management, harvesting, post-harvest handling, staffing CSA distribution and farm store, record keeping, season extension, pest and disease control, weed management and composting. The vegetable apprentice positions are 8 months, from mid-March to mid-November. Some opportunities to gain experience with Glynwood’s livestock enterprises will also be provided. One season of experience on a farm is required.
