Glynwood’s New Barn

Admission $15;  registration required.

Queen of the Sun, from the director of The Real Dirt on Farmer John, takes a profound, alternate look at the tragic global bee crisis.  Juxtaposing the catastrophic disappearance of bees with the mysterious world of the beehive, this film weaves an unusual and dramatic story of the heart-felt struggles of beekeepers, scientists, and philosophers from around the world, and reveals both the problems and solutions in renewing a culture in balance and nature.

Read notable quotes about the film.

Q&A with the director and a wine and cheese reception will follow the screening.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Urban Farmers Leaque of Newburgh.
