For Families and Kids

Farm Fun, Together!

ClimateChangeGlynwood Farm is home to all kinds of animals—cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, horses, and a donkey—as well as hayfields, a small orchard, and vegetable and flower gardens. All of which equals endless fascination for toddlers and their caregivers. The six-week series with Farm Educator Carolyn Llewellyn will have you and your child meeting the animals, learning about them, and watching our beautiful gardens grow.

Each week we’ll visit with different animals and learn more about how farms produce food and materials that we all need. The program is geared for children aged 18 months to 3 years and all children must attend with their caregivers.

Ms. Llewellyn has worked with children on farms since 1999 and is the mother of a two-year-old farm girl whose father is Glynwood’s Head Gardener.

Participants can attend classes individually or sign up for the series. Classes are limited to 12 children, and each caregiver may bring up to two children.
