For Families and Kids
Farm Fun, Together!
Glynwood Farm is home to all kinds of animals—cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, horses, and a donkey—as well as hayfields, a small orchard, and vegetable and flower gardens. All of which equals endless fascination for toddlers and their caregivers. These sessions with Farm Educator Carolyn Llewellyn will have you and your child meeting the animals, learning about them, and watching our beautiful gardens grow.
Each week we’ll visit with different animals and learn more about how farms produce food and materials that we all need. The program is geared for children aged 18 months to 3 years and all children must attend with their caregivers.
Ms. Llewellyn has worked with children on farms since 1999. She and Glynwood’s CSA Manager Dave Llewellyn live on the farm with their two children.
Participants can attend classes individually or sign up for the series. Class size is limited, so please sign up soon, and cancel as quickly as possible if you cannot attend.
