What inspires professionals to participate in a Countryside Exchange?

Part of it involves the chance to learn across disciplines and international borders. Part has to do with gaining a fresh perspective on effective communities. Whatever the motivation, team members often cite The Countryside Exchange as the best professional development experience in the field of community stewardship.

For each Exchange, we seek 6 to 8 experienced professionals in fields that directly address the Exchange community's specific needs: economic development, resource conservation, urban planning, law, and many others. Exchange teams consist of members from the host country and at least one other.  If working with an international, interdisciplinary team appeals to you, please send us your team member application.
