Welcome to The Glynwood Institute for Sustainable Food and Farming. Our vision is to shift the U.S. food supply to a regional, sustainable food system where healthy, nutritious food is accessible to all.
The Institute is an incubator for ideas and action, a “creative action tank” that develops and implements realistic solutions to critical issues within the food system. The Institute supports leaders and emerging leaders in the sustainable food field, provides tools and resources, and collaborates and networks with like-minded individuals and groups to elevate the sustainable food and farming movement into mainstream awareness.

Areas of Focus
Sustainable food and farming encompasses many areas, so, to start, we will be concentrating our efforts on:
- Regional sustainable food
- Increasing public understanding of the connection between climate change and agriculture
The Innovators and their projects, the media center, and other efforts of the Institute will initially focus around these two issues. The Institute will eventually expand into other areas.
