Each spring, Glynwood celebrates the new planting season with a day of family activities at Glynwood’s Farm. The children will love meeting the newborn animals and participating in activities designed just for them. Kids and adults alike can watch the spring ritual of the shearing of the sheep and attend demonstrations of wool-related crafts.
Registration is now open! Please purchase your tickets online before the event to receive the discounted ticket price of $15 per vehicle and to guarantee your spot. Tickets purchased on site the day of the event will be $20 per vehicle and access will be limited to available parking. To purchase tickets, please visit: http://glynwoodsheepshearing.eventbrite.com/.
Food will be available for purchase the day of the event at a festive food court featuring farm-inspired fare by Glynwood Chef Jason Wood, local treats by Go-Go Pops, and organic baked goods from Red Barn Bakery. Please note that parking on site will be limited, so we encourage you to carpool with friends and family.
Attention beginning farmers: Glynwood will be leading a technical sheepshearing workshop for new and aspiring farmers following the public event. Please click here for more information.
We will be releasing more details about the event and a schedule of the day’s activities over the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
