Each Spring Glynwood celebrates the new planting season with a day of family activities at Glynwood Farm. The children will love meeting the newborn animals and Maggie our draft horse, who plows our fields. Kids and adults alike can watch the spring ritual of the sheering of the sheep and attend farming demonstrations on weaving, gardening and beekeeping to introduce you to some of the daily activities of a working farm. And for gardening enthusiasts, don’t miss a tour of our greenhouse, and learn about the energy saving features we’ve installed.

Our onsite farmer’s market will sell Glynwood’s all natural eggs and flowers as well as locally-produced cheeses, hand woven afghans and books. A refreshment stand featuring items prepared with local foods is open for light snacks and drinks.
